This was the second time eating at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse. The first time, I didn’t take any photos… But this time around I made sure the camera ate first, before diving into the delicious food that we ordered.
One thing I like about BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse is that the menu has so many options, even something for the pickiest eater. The first time dining there for lunch, I ordered Pepperoni Extreme Flatbread and Crispy Calamari both did not disappoint.
This visit was also at lunchtime. There was no wait to be seated and the restaurant had a good amount of people dining. Our server was amazing, she did a wonderful job. Even with many tables, she didn’t miss a beat to make sure to visit each table to check on her tables.
What hasn’t been tried yet are the beers that they have to offer, many of them are draft beers. But I have tried the BJ’s Handcrafted Root Beer soda. So good! There’s also vanilla cream soda and orange cream soda, that I must try.
The atmosphere is casual dining. There are tv’s around the restaurant with sports playing, while we were there a couple of tv’s were also playing Fox Business. Yes, this is a family-friendly restaurant, with a kids’ menu.
What’s on the table…
Housemade Guacamole and Chips – Comes with fire-roasted salsa. The guacamole was good, taste very fresh. Could have used more jalapeno peppers to give it it a kick of spicy.
Fresh Mozarella and Tomato Starter Salad – Tomato, fresh mozzarella, arugula, red onions, parmesan cheese, and fresh basil. My daughter ordered this and added grill chicken to her salad. She enjoyed it, since it was a starter salad it was a good size for a 10 year old.
Classic Burger – Fire grilled beef patty, tomatoes, lettuce, dill pickles, parker house bun, BJ’s signature burger sauce, served with fries. Ordered the burger plain, with swiss cheese, and a side salad. Burger was good, ordered it well done but next visit will order it medium-well instead.
Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich – Crispy fried chicken, Nashville Hot sauce, dill pickles, creamy ranch, toasted parker house bun, with fries. I added extra pickles and ask for my bun to be lightly toasted. This sandwich was so delicious. I’ll be eating this again. It chicken was very crispy and the spicy level, was just right. It was the spicy that when you eat it your nose runs, but you can’t stop eating, because it’s so good.
