Have you eaten at The Point Seafood and Steakhouse in Broussard, La? I hadn’t until recently and let me tell you, I have been missing out.
It’s been on a place to eat list for a while now, but COVID really slowed down the progress of The Blasian Cajun. But now that places are opening up, I’m getting out more to try new places.
Of course, I know you are here to know what I thought, so I’ll get right to it. The Point has become a new favorite on my list of places to eat. My crew enjoyed every bite of food. Let me not forget the customer service… it was above average. With many places short-handed on staff, I can say that was not the case here. Fully staffed, which speaks volumes, meaning it’s a place people want to work at.
I look forward to going back and trying other items on the menu. Below you can see what we order on our visit to The Point Seafood and Steakhouse.
What’s on the table…
Unfortunately, my favorite, crab claws (aka crab fingers) was not available when we dined. Here’s what we ordered this time for lunch.
Point Shrimp & Grits – Grits served with shrimp, chicken, and sausage gumbo. It a great combination!
Snow Crab Legs – Spicy level on point! Cooked just right!
Dungeness Crabs – Seasoned to perfection. I ordered spicy level spicy.
Mimosa Flight – Can’t go wrong with a flight of champagne.
